Hey! :D Welcome to our website! PACE Youth Network is a leading provider of youth support services in London for gay, lesbian, bisexual & trans young people (and those who think they might be!) - aged 19 and under.
Our range of services are designed to be easy to contact, confidential* to access and engaging to be part of. The youth projects and weekly groups at PACE have been meeting the health and well-being needs of the LGBT Youth Community in and around London since 1997. Have a good look around our site to find out more about what we do or click to get in touch.
The London Queer Youth Group meets every Tuesday evening, 6.00 - 8.30pm, in safe surroundings just a couple of minutes walk from Caledonian Road tube, in Islington, north London. Email us for further info and/or map and directions. It's free and there's no obligation to come along every week or even stay for the whole session - it's entirely up to you. You can find out more about our weekly social/support group here.
Interact with the L.Q.Y.G Timeline for regular news, views and feedback.
If you're just 'coming out' or exploring your sexual/gender identity, it's a great way to meet new people and make new friends away from the pressures of the commercial 'gay scene'. There's no pressure to be 'out' or to 'be anything' - other than YOU. We always do our best to make sure new members feel welcome and included. Tuning up for the first time really is the hardest bit! Find out what we get up to here.
(BTW, we really DO understand you may be feeling a bit (a lot?!) nervous about coming along to the weekly group for the first time - especially if you've never accessed a project like ours before. All we can say is, there REALLY isn't anything to worry about - you are free to leave at any time. Take a deep breath and go for it!)
